Camp to Belong 2019 Full of emotions about witnessing the power of love between brothers and sisters living separated in foster care. For 5 full days kids spent quality time together and at final camp fire last night the comments from the kids were real, raw and painful in many eases about their lives but also full of love.

Many talked about how camp is really the only place they get to see their siblings and how much it means to them. Many kids carry the pain of abuse and separation from family everyday but at camp that load is a little lighter! The tears were flowing for us all… I wish kids did not have to endure this type of pain!

So very grateful to all the staff and volunteers who worked so (so so so so) very hard to make the week special! Thank you, Kevin Beagle, for your hard work, thank you Mike Bones and Mike Jupiter for being awesome camp counselors and helping kids have a great time, thank you Jamaal for being an awesome camp Captain full of inspiration for the kids, thank you Sophia for returning in your coveted special Phoenix way. Thank you, Diamond, for everything... you are an amazing young woman and I loved seeing you enjoy yourself! To everyone.... heartfelt gratitude! To al the donors-Thank you! Thanks Jessica, Snow, Brittany Sparkle and Elisa Speedy thank you for coming on the short and long trip!

To everyone thank you and know that the ripple effect of your kindness and love for the kids at camp will live on in their stories of an awesome week, in their scrapbooks they will reflect on in tough times, in their hearts and the positive memories you helped them create!!!!
