Our Officers
President Lynda Kreitlow
Lynda has been a member of the Children’s Service Guild since 1990, following in her mother’s footsteps. She has been president of the Guild since 2013 and oversees its general operation, and conducts the monthly board meetings. Lynda has 20 years of management experience in the hotel/casino industry. With her experience in arts and crafts, Lynda also chairs the Guild’s annual Holiday Craft Boutique and Raffle.
Vice President Marsha Manning
Marsha is the vice president of the Children’s Service Guild and has been a member since 2018. She also chairs the membership committee. Marsha came to us from Texas where she worked in the medical field and her volunteer career as a Girl Scout leader and camp counselor. Marsha loves to dedicate her free time to benefit the children of Clark County. Her favorite hobby is crochet which she learned from her aunt and which she uses to make items for the Guild’s boutique.
Recording Secretary Marci Beard
Marci is the secretary of the Children’s Service Guild and has been a member since 2015. She is an American-born Filipina and has lived in Las Vegas since 1951. Marci is a retired forensic lab technologist with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. When she retired, she chose the Guild to give her time and talents to the support of the children of Clark County. With her sewing talent, Marci creates many beautiful items for our annual boutique.
Treasurer Doreen Law
Doreen is treasurer for the Children’s Service Guild and has been a member since 2014. She has lived in Las Vegas for over 40 years and has been a real estate agent since 1989. Doreen spends many hours a month at Child Haven, helping the youngest children in the care of Clark County. She has organized and operated the checkout process for the annual boutique, and while she is not a crafter, Doreen is a vital part of the organization.
Assistant Treasurer Evan Rubin
Evan is assistant treasurer of the Children's Service Guild. Evan's involvement with the Guild started alongside his wife, Sue Ellen, who was a longtime member and children's advocate. Together, they have done everything from building a children's home by hand in a foreign country to supporting children's causes in Las Vegas. Evan carries on his wife's legacy helping children with his project management skills to advance fundraising efforts and his woodworking skills making unique carvings sold at our annual crafts Boutique fundraiser.
Historian Elise Rigutaso
Elise has been the Children Service Guild’s historian and photographer for 10 years and a member since 2011. She is originally from Michigan where she was a child and pet photographer. Elise plans the children’s parties that the guild sponsors at Child Haven. She also takes a picture of each child and gives them a copy to remember the event. Each year Elise compiles the year’s pictures and memories into a beautiful history book for the Guild.
Sunshine Committee Chair Marilyn Namovich
Marilyn is the immediate past president of the Children’s Service Guild, chairs the sunshine committee, and has been a member since 2009. She began her career working for the US Government at Nellis Air Force Base, retiring after over 33 years. Marilyn started the Guild’s scholarship program for underprivileged graduating seniors of Clark County Court System. She uses her crafting talents on many various items sold at the boutique.
