My name is Samuel Umholtz, and I am the proud new recipient of the Children's Service Guild of Southern Nevada Scholarship. I plan on using these funds to assist in my first year studying Anthropology at the University of Nevada, Reno, and later beginning law school and parlaying my education into legal work for the betterment of mankind.

I find the interaction by humankind with their environment in regard to art fascinating, and hope to expand on this fascination in my time at UNR. I am supremely grateful for your help, and promise to use my time in college to learn and grow as much as possible.
