Dear Children’s Service Guild Members,

First of all, I would like to thank the Children’s Service Guild for the 50 years of service to our youth at DJJS and DFS. It has been a privilege to work with you for over 22 years. Our youth have benefited from your kindness and dedication. Without your help many of our special projects and activities would not have taken place. All of the fun times at DJJS the Children’s Service Guild has been involved with whether directly or indirectly. We appreciate all your time and efforts fund raising for our youth. Your countless efforts with countless efforts with the coordination of numerous events is amazing.

The holiday boutique is a timeless tradition that benefits all our youth. I know it requires numerous hours and dedication to prepare the food and create the holiday pieces. It has become a tradition for my family and me to come to the event every year. You bring so much joy and love into a world for kids that often do not get it. The Thanksgiving baskets are a huge impact on families and our youth. I have delivered the food baskets and watched families cry as they would not have been able to have a holiday meal. Families give us hugs in your honor for the things you have done. We just deliver the food, but the meaning behind it will touch me forever. All the holidays are better for our youth because you challenge us to do more. Without your help and direction our children would be less. The Xmas holiday are huge things for youth that can’t afford many things in life. I have seen youth buy their mothers, sisters, or brothers, gifts with the cards. I could go on and on about the numerous holiday events, sports events, weekend activities, petty cash, sports equipment, numerous things like eyeglasses etc. that you provide these youth.

Thank you for providing so much for our youth and families. Your generosity and countless dedication has improved the lives of our youth. Thank you for getting involved and providing so much. Thank you so much for all the things you do. If I listed everything you do I would need a book.
