“One of the cutest experiences we observed on Child Haven Campus was when the Children’s Service Guild (about 11 members) were leaving the campus workshop when we heard the voices of little children nearby shouting “Here come the grandmas!” They all ran toward us and surrounded us, one hugging our treasurer’s leg.

Our treasurer, Tom S., was so stunned he didn’t know what to do since we were told not to touch the children on campus. It all ended when a female county employee cheerfully broke up the mob raid and handled the scene with humor and laughter.”
